On the way home from work , heard the weather was going to be nice this weekend ...
I see this dog lounging in the window , pretty well every day the sun is out , as I drive through our small local village , on my way home from work ...
Knew the weekend was going to be busy with friends and family , so my wife and I stuck close to home and walked our farm trails ...
Have seen this doe a few time recently with a tiny newborn , but haven't got a picture of her fawn yet ( must be drop result of last falls 2nd rut )
A doe and fork horn pass my favorite climber tree at the South East corner of my property ...
I poke around the farm doing misc chores , and get some pictures for Terry of the " Munch Mount " on my Y25 Relayer ...
I have a spare that I'm going to put on my old Relayer ... man you gotta love the detail work on these beauties ! ... I know , I know ,
he only put one " S " in " cross bow " , but if you remember the discussion from a while back , it was to balance out the art work ... looks great to me !
Chris H . dropped by and I got a few frames some of his taxidermy work ... he gets better with every mount !

Got invited again to the annual " Petersen Clan " Canada Day weekend Fish Fry and BBQ . A good turn out of friends , family and work mates ...
It's awesome to see young friends having fun ! ...
The band rev's up ... and so do the youngsters !
( Band is " Chew Toy " ... Three guys from work , and they did an awsome job ! )
While everyone is having fun ... the Petersen crew and friends are in action with BBQ's and the deep frier ...

While dinner is being prepared ... I wander and get a few cool pic's of Court P's father in laws , restored tractors ! ( real beauties ! )
Also what appear to be some future project " diamonds in the rough ! "
I look over the neighbors fence and see one of his goats has found it's way into the garden ! ( a cool photo op that caught my eye ! )
Foods on the table ... ( Fresh Perch / Bass / Pulled Pork / Wings .. you name it ! ) .. enough to feed a good size crowd ... doesn't take long for people to file in to the chow line !

Thunder storm warnings issued , later on , but they stayed away long enough for the kids to enjoy some end of evening fireworks ...
Got home just in time to see the sun goining down before the storm hit !
