We drove thru some stormy weather on the last few days ...



Yesterday , I launched a Laser 2 , 125 grain Innerloc broadhead on board , with a Custom Boo string , off the deck of my Excalibur Y25 Relayer and connected at 20 yards , on a beauty grouse ..

The arrow .... some feather shrapnel , and one small blood trail in the snow ...



One tasy grouse for the pot !



Hooked up with Sandman and Pydpiper for one last kick at it today .... Saw a buck at my place this morning ( too far for a shot ) ... Covered alot of ground but came up dry on three pushes during the day ... and finally settled in for and evening stand , at a property I have been seeing deer over the last few days .



It went right down to the wire and in the final 15 mins of legal shooting time , Pydpiper sent a custom G2 with a Slick Trick on board off the deck of his Exocet 200 ... it found it's mark at a ranged 41 yards on this beauty doe ! ( Boo get's credit for the string on this bow as well ! )



Sandman was approx 20 yards from Pydpiper when he " let fly " , and was ready with his Exomax as back-up with a quiver full of Custom bolts from John ( man those things are bright ! ) .... here is the last picture I took tonight ... a " tagged " tailgate shot to end the season .... and a fun season it was !
